1. Overview

This policy explains which personal data easyJobDE processes, why it is processed and which rights individuals have. Personal data is information that can identify a person directly or indirectly.

3. Hosting, database and logs

The website is hosted by Vercel Inc. Database, authentication, file storage and real-time functions are provided through Supabase. Requests may process IP address, time, browser, operating system, referrer, hostname and technical security data. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (secure and reliable operation).

4. Cookies and sessions

Essential cookies store sign-in, security, language and consent state. They are needed to provide the requested service. Non-essential analytics or advertising technologies are used only after consent, which can be withdrawn at any time in privacy settings.

5. Google Analytics

If you consent, we use Google Analytics, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, to measure website use. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Consent is voluntary and can be withdrawn for the future at any time through Cookie settings.

6. Google AdSense and consent management

If you consent through the Google privacy message, Google AdSense advertisements from Google Ireland Limited may appear on public editorial pages. Google and other advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads. Personalised advertising remains disabled without consent. Google advertising preferences can be changed through Cookie settings and at https://adssettings.google.com.

7. Google reCAPTCHA

Google reCAPTCHA may be used to protect login, registration and comparable forms. Technical information about the device, browser and use may be transmitted to Google to the extent necessary for bot and abuse prevention. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (protecting the platform and its users).

8. Account and platform features

For registration, profiles, tasks, offers, applications, messages, reviews and age checks, we process submitted content, email address, display name, date of birth, technical security data and status information. For a profile labelled as a company, the company name is additionally displayed publicly. The date of birth is used to verify 18+ eligibility and is not displayed publicly. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR; security and misuse prevention additionally rely on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

9. Communication and visibility

Messages and technical metadata are processed so users can communicate. Profile and task information is visible to other users as required by each feature. Publicly published information may be indexed by search engines. Do not publish data that is unnecessary for arranging a task. We use Resend as a delivery provider for necessary account and platform notifications and email confirmations; the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.

10. Newsletter

If you expressly subscribe to the newsletter, we process your email address, selected audience, optional city and category preferences, and records of consent (including time and, where technically processed, IP address). Subscription is confirmed by double opt-in. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every newsletter; no further newsletters will be sent afterwards.

11. Internal usage analysis

To improve the marketplace and detect misuse, we record task views by signed-in users with user ID and time. A task owner’s own views are excluded, and no more than one view per user and task is counted each day. Only authorised administrators have access. Individual events are deleted after no more than 90 days. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; you may object for reasons arising from your particular situation.

12. Recipients and transfers

Recipients are limited to people and providers that need data to operate the platform: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database, authentication, storage and real-time functions), Resend (email delivery) and, for the features described above, Google. Where data is processed outside the EEA, this occurs only under a Chapter V GDPR mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards including standard contractual clauses. Information on the safeguards used is available on request.

13. Retention and provision of data

Data is kept only for as long as required for its purpose, contract performance, security or statutory retention and is then deleted or restricted. Data required for account and platform features must be provided for us to deliver those features; without it, registration or use of the relevant feature may not be possible.

14. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the following rights:

• access and a copy

• erasure and restriction
• data portability
• withdrawal of consent
• objection to processing based on legitimate interests

15. Complaints

You may complain to a data protection supervisory authority, in particular at your residence, workplace or the place of the alleged infringement. 16. Automated decisions and changes

We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affect you. We update this policy when features, processing activities or legal requirements change. The current version published on this page applies.
